Family game

I remembered when I was a kid about the age of 5-10, every weekends my family and I would go to my grandparents house. It had been that way, after the Sunday mass my family, my father’s siblings and their families will meet at the old Victorian house. We would have lunch together and after the tea and coffee was served my cousins and I would play a game in the backyard while our parents would play bingo. Sometimes we children would just watch them block out the cards and when somebody shouted the magic word everybody will be happy. It was never been a competition for the pot money, it was more on who will shout Bingo first. After twenty years, my grandparents passed away and the weekly reunion was abruptly stopped. But the love for the bingo game continued to exist in my heart.

I now play online bingo and sometimes I do get free bingo. My cousins do play the game too online, because we chat about it all the time. We keep in touch online and we were planning to continue the family legacy of getting together every weekend. Now that we all have a family of our own, we want our children to experience the joy of being with our relatives and enjoying a game we all love or simply talking about anything and nothing in particular. Just rekindling the personal bonding they will cherish till they’ll have a family of their own too.
